How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Flat seams across the toes

Black socks from Bamboo Basics, exceptionally soft because they are made from bamboo. Breathable, comfortable all day and with flat seams across the toes for as little irritation as possible.

The seam over the toes is where a sock is most bothersome, because it sits pinched between toe and shoe. These have a flat seam instead of an ordinary one, and that is the detail that matters most on a long day in closed shoes.

The cut

Regular shaft up the leg, three identical pairs in black.

The material

70% bamboo viscose, 25% polyamide and 5% elastane. The polyamide is there because a sock needs to hold its shape around the foot after many washes, whereas a T-shirt just needs to hang nicely.
