How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Ten pairs of black socks, and why there are ten

Bamboo socks do not last as long as cotton socks. The bamboo fibres are more porous, and that is why the heel and toe get thin faster. That is the honest explanation, and it is also the reason a 10 pack makes sense: you get the soft feel of bamboo, and you get enough pairs that you are not left short when the first ones wear out.

Flat seams over the toes

The seam across the toes is flat instead of standing up as a ridge. That is the detail you feel most of all inside a shoe, and it is worth noting.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyamide and 5 % elastane. The polyamide is placed exactly where the wear happens. We go through the material honestly in our facts about bamboo.
