WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Why grey

Grey is the colour that does not take a side: it goes with a bathroom in white, tiles in stone or wood, and it does not fade visibly even after many washes at the recommended temperatures. Choose grey if the towel should blend in rather than stand out.

Bamboo lyocell, not bamboo viscose

The towel is made of bamboo lyocell. Lyocell is produced in a closed loop where the solvent is reused, and the fibre becomes stronger than viscose, which matters more for a towel that is wrung out and dried often.

70 per cent bamboo lyocell
