WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Navy long sleeved night shirt with dots

Britt long-sleeved bamboo night top from CCDK in navy with dots. The lovely bamboo and organic cotton blend makes it soft, breathable and temperature regulating.

The dots are small and dense, so from a distance the top looks like plain navy. Britt is the long-sleeved style without buttons and without a collar, so it can simply be pulled over the head. It is intended as a top to go with a pair of pyjama trousers.

68 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 68 % bamboo viscose, 27 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is what makes the top feel cool against the skin even with long sleeves, which is the whole reason why long-sleeved nightwear in bamboo works better than in cotton. Wash navy separately

Navy gives off a little colour in the first few washes, so keep the top away from anything white to begin with. Wash at 40 degrees together with your dark laundry and leave out the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BEGO 065229.
