WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Grey is the middle ground between black and white

Dark grey bamboo maxi briefs with a high waist and good coverage of the bottom from JBS of Denmark. Besides being super soft, bamboo is also breathable.

Under light trousers, white briefs show through because white reflects more light than skin. Black shows through as a dark shadow. Dark grey does neither quite as clearly, which is why it is a sensible third colour to have in the drawer.

The maxi cut

High waist and full coverage at the back. The edge sits up at the navel, which is why it does not roll down or cut a fold when you sit down for a whole day.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content gives the cool surface against the skin, the cotton holds the shape, the elastane makes the briefs follow the body. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener and not in the tumble dryer, where the elastane gives out first. See the washing and care guide.
