WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

White bra top in bamboo with thin straps from CCDK. Hugs the body with an almost weightless feel. Soft, breathable and moisture wicking material.

A bra top is a hybrid: more coverage than a bra, less fabric than a tank top. This one has thin straps, hugs the body and weighs almost nothing. From CCDK, available in three combined sizes: XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL.

Recycled nylon

The fabric is 79 % bamboo viscose, 15 % recycled nylon and 6 % elastane. The high bamboo content is the reason the top feels smooth rather than merely soft, and the nylon gives the stretch needed for it to stay in place. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

White is washed on its own

A white bra top turns grey beige from being washed together with coloured laundry, and it happens gradually. Wash it with the rest of your whites at 40 degrees and leave out the fabric softener, which settles on the fibres and takes away exactly the breathability you bought the top for.
