How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

White thong with recycled nylon

White thong in soft bamboo from CCDK. Adapts to body temperature and is moisture wicking, breathable and silky soft. Ideal for both everyday and night wear.

This thong is sewn in 79 % bamboo viscose, 15 % recycled nylon and 6 % elastane. The recycled nylon is a deliberate choice from CCDK, and the high bamboo content is the reason the brief feels silky rather than merely soft. Available in three combined sizes: XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL.

Adapts to your body temperature

Bamboo viscose moves heat and moisture away from the skin instead of holding on to it. That means the brief works both under a pair of trousers during the day and as something to sleep in at night, without turning clammy. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Wash gently

A high bamboo content does not tolerate heat, and certainly not fabric softener. Wash at 40 degrees with the rest of your whites and let the brief air dry.
