How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

3-pack red bamboo tennis socks with white stripes from Copenhagen Bamboo. Extra thick woven sole, ideal for people on their feet all day. Soft and breathable.

Red is not the colour you choose in order to be discreet. It is chosen because the tennis sock sticks up above the shoe anyway, and then it might as well be something you have made a decision about. White stripes at the top of the leg give the classic tennis look. Three pairs from Copenhagen Bamboo in 34/39, 40/44 and 45/49.

Wash red separately the first time

Red colours bleed for the first few washes. Run the socks on their own or with other red items the first few times, otherwise you risk pink towels. After that they can be washed with the rest of your coloureds at 40 degrees and without fabric softener. See our washing and care guide.

Extra thick sole

The sole is woven thicker than the leg, so there is cushioning under the heel and the ball of the foot. That is why this model can take a whole day on your feet. The fabric is 75% bamboo viscose, 23% polyester and 2% elastane, as described in our facts about bamboo. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BJ020 142441.
