WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The thin strap is for use under clothes

This black basic tank top with thin straps is made from the loveliest bamboo material. Bamboo makes this top temperature regulating, absorbent and extremely soft to wear.

A thin strap does not add bulk under a blouse, and that is the whole point of this one. On the other hand, it does not cover the bra straps, so if the top is to be worn alone, a model with wide straps is the right choice. As an invisible layer, the thin strap is best.

Black

Black is the right colour under dark and saturated colours. Under white and light fabrics, black shows through as a shadow, and a nude or light tone is better there.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. Bamboo viscose absorbs moisture and releases it into the air, and that is the property that makes a close-fitting top usable all day without becoming clammy. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees or below without fabric softener, and lay the top flat to dry, so the thin straps are not stretched out by a hanger. Black turns greyish from heat. See the washing and care guide.
