WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Ruben is sold in pairs. The reason is the same as with socks: a basic t-shirt is used so often that you need two in order to always have one ready.

Dark green

Dark green is the colour that breaks up a wardrobe of black and grey without asking anything of the rest. It works with denim, with black and with sand.

The material

68% bamboo viscose, 28% organic cotton and 4% elastane. The bamboo content gives the cool surface and moves moisture away from the skin, the cotton holds the shape, and the 4% elastane keeps the neckline in shape after being pulled over the head many times. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener. Green dyes fade fastest in direct sunlight, so dry the t-shirts in the shade. Wash both together from the start, so they wear evenly. See the washing and care guide.
