WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Five pairs of black bamboo footies

Footies are the sock that should not be seen. The edge sits below the ankle and disappears completely into your shoe, so it looks like you are walking barefoot in your sneakers or loafers. The challenge with footies is that they slip down under the heel, which is why these have a silicone edge at the back that holds them in place. Five black pairs, in 34/39, 40/44 and 45/49.

The material

75% bamboo viscose, 23% polyester and 2% elastane. The bamboo wicks moisture away from your foot, which matters especially in a footie where the foot sits tight in the shoe with no air. The polyester adds durability, the elastane keeps the shape. More in our facts about bamboo.

Certification and washing

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BJ020 142441. Wash at 40 degrees without fabric softener, and air dry them so the silicone edge keeps its grip. See washing and care guide.
