WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Green unisex bamboo sweatshirt from Copenhagen Bamboo with logo print over the chest. Made from bamboo viscose, organic cotton and recycled polyester.

A bamboo sweatshirt behaves differently from the classic one in pure cotton: it is softer inside, it breathes better, and it does not become heavy and clammy if you get warm. This one is green with a discreet logo, and the cut is unisex, meaning the same for men and women.

The material

55% bamboo viscose, 25% polyester, 15% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The polyester gives shape stability so the sweatshirt does not sag after a couple of wears, the cotton gives body, and the bamboo viscose provides the softness against the skin. Fit

The cut is straight and slightly loose, so it can be worn over a t-shirt without pulling. If you want a closer fit, go one size down. Ribbing at the neck, cuffs and hem holds the shape.

Certification and washing

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BJ020 142441. Wash at 40 degrees inside out so the logo lasts, and leave out the fabric softener. Air dry rather than tumble dry. See the washing and care guide.
