WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

When the occasion calls for something smarter than a T-shirt, this white polo in bamboo from JBS of Denmark is a good choice. Breathable and temperature regulating, comfortable all day.

Note: This model has a tight fit, if you want it to fit loosely we recommend going up a size.

Piqué is a knit with a fine waffle pattern in the surface. It makes the fabric slightly thicker and more textured than jersey, and that is why a polo looks smarter than a t-shirt without being a shirt. This one is white, from JBS of Denmark, and comes in S to XXXL.

Pay attention to the fit

This style has a tight fit. If you want it to sit loosely, we recommend going one size up. It is a real difference, not a detail, so order accordingly.

65 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 65 % bamboo viscose, 30 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. The bamboo viscose is breathable and temperature regulating, which you notice on a summer day where an ordinary cotton polo becomes heavy. See our facts about bamboo.
