WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Brown bamboo Big Shirt from JBS of Denmark with short sleeves. Lovely and soft in a loose fit, suitable for both home use and as a light nightshirt.

A big shirt is an oversized shirt blouse with short sleeves, cut so loose that it can be worn as a nightshirt and as loungewear. It is not two products, it is one, and that is the whole reason the style exists. The colour is brown. From JBS of Denmark.

Loose fit from the start

The cut is loose to begin with, so you should not go up a size. Choose your normal size, otherwise you end up with a shirt that hangs off the shoulder.

65 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 65 % bamboo viscose, 30 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. The bamboo viscose is the reason it falls heavily and softly instead of standing out stiffly, and the reason it does not get warm to sleep in. See our facts about bamboo and our FSC page.
