How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Mike bamboo sweatshirt in navy is a classic and comfortable sweatshirt for men. The soft quality and relaxed fit make it useful for everyday wear.

Mike is 37% bamboo viscose, 27.5% organic cotton, 27.5% acrylic and 8% elastane. Acrylic insulates better than both cotton and viscose, which is why this sweatshirt is warmer than the others in the shop. The trade off is that acrylic pills more easily.

How to keep pilling down

Wash the jumper inside out at 40 degrees and avoid the tumble dryer, where the friction pulls fibres out. A lint roller a couple of times per season keeps the surface neat. See the washing and care guide.

When it is the right choice
