How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Black straight leg are the most versatile of the soft trousers

Soft and luxurious straight leg trousers in bamboo from JBS of Denmark. Comfortable and breathable with a timeless cut for every day.

Straight leg means the leg has the same width from the knee down, instead of narrowing towards the ankle. Combined with black, this makes the trousers usable for a meeting or a dinner, where a pair of sweatpants with a cuffed leg is clearly loungewear.

The cut

Straight leg without a ribbed hem at the bottom, elasticated waist. The fabric is soft sweat fabric, but the cut is that of an ordinary pair of trousers.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo share provides the softness and moves moisture away from the skin, the cotton keeps the shape at the knees, the elastane means they move with you when you sit down. More in facts about bamboo.

Black is washed cool

Black turns greyish from hot washing and the tumble dryer. Keep to 40 degrees or below and hang them up to dry. No fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.
