WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Thinner than ordinary sweatpants

Light grey bamboo sweatpants for women from JBS of Denmark in a soft and comfortable quality. These trousers are made in a lighter and thinner quality than ordinary sweatpants, making them ideal for both relaxation and everyday use. Comfortable fit with a clean-cut look.

These are sewn in a lighter quality than the sweat fabric normally used for jogging bottoms. That is the key difference: they can be worn indoors all year round without getting too warm, whereas thick sweatpants really only work in winter.

The cut

Loose legs, elasticated waist, understated look without logos. Because the fabric is thinner, the leg falls more softly and builds up less around the hips.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content gives the softness and moves moisture away from the skin, the cotton holds the shape. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener. Thin fabric handles the tumble dryer worse than thick fabric, so hang them up to dry. Light grey also turns dull from washing too hot. See the washing and care guide.
