WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Oversize is already big, so do not size up

Relaxed oversize bamboo T-shirt from JBS of Denmark. It is soft, breathable and temperature regulating and feels light and lovely against the skin.

The width is deliberately built into the cut. If you size up, as you would otherwise do when you want something loose, the jumper ends up hanging from the shoulders instead of falling. Choose your normal size.

The cut

Relaxed and loose with a dropped shoulder. Light grey is the easy colour, but it shows sweat marks more clearly than dark colours, which is worth knowing before a warm day.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content gives the cool, smooth surface, and in an oversized jumper that matters: the fabric hangs freely from the body and has more air around it. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener. Light grey turns dull from washing too hot, and a loose jumper twists out of shape more easily in the tumble dryer, so hang it up to dry. See the washing and care guide.
