How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black thong in soft bamboo from CCDK. Minimalist design with moisture wicking, breathable and silky soft properties for both everyday wear and relaxation.

The whole point of a thong is that there is no edge that can be seen. This one is in soft bamboo fabric with folded edges rather than sewn-on lace, and that's the detail that also means it can't be felt through tight trousers or a thin dress.

Bamboo instead of synthetic lace

Most thongs are made from nylon or lace, because those are thin materials. This one instead uses 79% bamboo viscose, which is softer against the skin, and 15% recycled nylon plus 6% elastane to hold the shape. More in facts about bamboo.

Sizes

Combined sizes, XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL. If you're in between, take the smallest, because the elastane gives after a couple of hours. Our guide to knickers and underpants explains the difference between the styles.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener, and keep it out of the tumble dryer. The elastane is the first thing to give up under heat. See the washing and care guide.
