WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Two white slim fit T-shirts from JBS

Slim fit means the T-shirt follows the body instead of folding under a shirt. It can therefore be used as a vest, under a jumper or on its own, and that is three uses in the same top. Two white pieces from JBS, in sizes from S all the way up to XXXL.

Adapts to your body temperature

Bamboo viscose carries both heat and moisture away from the skin. In practice that means the top feels cool when you are warm, and that it does not turn clammy and cold when you stand still afterwards. The fabric is 65 % bamboo viscose, 30 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. See our facts about bamboo and our FSC page.

Whites are washed separately

A white T-shirt turns greyish beige from being washed together with coloureds, and it happens gradually. Wash them with the rest of the whites at 40 degrees and leave out the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. 976-15301.
