WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Three pairs of underpants in black, navy and grey

This is the classic three pack from JBS: black, navy and grey. Three shades that are all dark enough not to show through trousers, and different enough that you can see which ones you wore yesterday. The sizes run from S to XXXL, which is not a given in basic underwear.

65 per cent bamboo viscose and FSC

The fabric is 65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. FSC is about where the raw material comes from, that is about the forestry behind the bamboo. We explain the label on our FSC page and the material itself in our facts about bamboo.

Why bamboo in underwear

Bamboo viscose is absorbent and temperature regulating. In practice that means less moisture, less heat and less odour at the end of the day, and that is the whole reason the material has become standard in good underwear.
