WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Three pairs of black underpants from JBS

JBS is the Danish brand people know from their father's drawer, and the bamboo version is the modern version of exactly that product. Three black pairs in the pack, in sizes from S all the way up to XXXL, which is not a given in basic underwear.

65 per cent bamboo viscose and FSC

The fabric is 65 % bamboo viscose, 30 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. FSC is about the forestry behind the raw material, that is, where the bamboo comes from. We explain the label on our FSC page and the material itself in our facts about bamboo.

Why bamboo in underpants

The bamboo fibres are smooth and soft, and they wick sweat away from the skin instead of holding on to it. That means less moisture and less odour at the end of the day, and that is the whole reason the material has become standard in good underwear.

Washing
