WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Rib is knit with vertical ridges

Nude tank top in ribbed bamboo from Urban Quest. With double edges and a soft fit, perfect under a shirt, with jeans or to sleep in.

Ribbed knit means the fabric is knitted in vertical ridges rather than smooth. The ridges give the fabric more stretch across the width, so the top follows the body more closely, and they also stop it from looking thin even though the fabric is light.

Double edges

The edges at the neckline and straps are doubled, that is folded over and sewn down. This edge does not curl up, which is why the top still lies flat after many washes.

Nude

A nude shade close to the skin disappears under light-coloured shirts and blouses, where both white and black show through, each in its own way.

Washing
