How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The ribbed knit and the wide straps mean it can be worn under a shirt, alone with jeans and to sleep in. That is unusual for a single top, and it is because rib looks like a deliberate fabric rather than underwear when worn as the outer layer.

Rib and double edges

Rib is knit with vertical ridges, which give stretch across the width and make the top follow the body. The edges at the neckline and straps are doubled, that is folded over and sewn down, so they do not curl up.

The material
