WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

This green sweatshirt with a round neck and a small logo on the chest is from JBS of Denmark and is made from a lovely soft bamboo blend. It is temperature regulating, breathable and stays soft wash after wash.

Green dyes are the first to fade in direct sunlight. If you dry the sweatshirt outdoors in the sun, it loses saturation faster than a black or grey one. In shade or indoors, the colour lasts much longer, and that is the one thing worth knowing about a green sweatshirt.

The cut

Round neck with ribbed trim, small logo on the chest, no hood. The small logo is the difference from the hoodie in the same series, where the logo runs across the chest.

The fabric
