WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

This dark grey sweatshirt with a round neck and a small logo on the chest is from JBS of Denmark and made from a lovely soft bamboo blend. It's temperature-regulating, breathable and stays soft wash after wash.

Here the logo sits like a small emblem on the chest. That's the whole difference from a top with a print across the front: it can be worn at work and under a shirt jacket without signalling anything. That's why JBS makes both kinds.

The cut

Round neck with ribbed trim, ribbed cuffs on sleeves and hem, no hood. Without a hood, the jumper does not add bulk at the neck under a jacket.

That's why there's polyester in it

55% bamboo viscose gives the softness against the skin, 25% polyester is what stops sweatshirt fabric sagging out of shape after a winter, 15% organic cotton gives it weight and 5% elastane makes the ribbed edges spring back. More in facts about bamboo.
