How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Navy is the alternative to black when you do not want all your underwear in the same colour. It is still dark enough not to show through light coloured trousers. Three pairs in the pack from Lindbergh, and they come all the way up to XXXL, which is not a given in basic underwear.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % cotton and 5 % elastane. The high bamboo content is the reason the briefs feel cool against the skin and do not turn clammy on a warm day. The cotton gives them the firmness they need to hold their shape after many washes. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Washing and colour

Wash them together with the rest of the dark laundry at 40 degrees, without fabric softener. Navy gives off a little colour the first few times, so do not wash them together with whites. The rest is in our washing and care guide.
