WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Soft black bamboo sweatpants from Copenhagen Bamboo with logo on the right thigh. Zip pockets, made from bamboo viscose, organic cotton and recycled polyester.

The zip is the reason they can be worn outside the home. Your phone and keys stay in the pocket when you sit down, and that is the one detail ordinary sweatpants lack. The logo sits on the right thigh, so it can be seen under a long top.

The cut

Loose legs with ribbed trim at the bottom, elastic and drawstring at the waist. Unisex, same model for men and women.

The fabric

55% bamboo viscose against the skin, 25% polyester so the knees do not bag out, 15% organic cotton for the weight and 5% elastane in the trims. The bamboo fibres are FSC MIX certified, see FSC. More about the fibres in facts about bamboo.

Black is washed cool

Black sweat fabric turns greyish from heat. Keep to 40 degrees, wash inside out for the logo's sake and skip the fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.
